Last Chance To Get Away!
School is almost back in session so time is running out for that final (or first) summer getaway. We have great family sized cabins available with lofts for the kids and a beautiful deck overlooking the pond for Mom and Dad. Cavender Creek Cabins is right in the middle of everything so whether it's a family canoe trip down the Chestatee River, a day hike on any of our numerous hiking trails, touring historic gold mines or just enjoying the last few weeks of summer vacation, there's always lots to see and do before the summer gets away!

Visit our Web site: www.CavenderCreek.com, take a Virtual Tour of our cabins and make your reservations today!

The Oases of North Georgia...

As we mentioned last month, Dahlonega is quite a bit cooler than anywhere south of us this time of year, but if you really want to find the most refreshing escapes, just find yourself a waterfall! Fortunately, North Georgia has many of these beautiful Oases to choose from where you will find the mountain waters cool the surrounding air as it falls and many are shaded by overhanging Rhododendron. Find your own oasis with maps at the Dahlonega Welcome Center and get a preview at the Dahlonega Waterfall Page. Or visit our friend, J. Anthony's "Waterfalls of North Georgia" Website.
