Let It SNOW!!
What a topsy turvy winter we've had! After a good snow early in January we've seen warmer temps into the upper sixties! Well, it appears winter might be returning next week as the weather man is calling for snow starting next Tuesday night, on into Wednesday and possibly Thursday! Many of our Florida friends have requested to be put on notice if snow seems likely, so consider yourselves invited to our winter wonderland! Of course, we can't make any guarantees about the snow, but it's still a great opportunity to take advantage of our Winter Special!! Book a two night stay with us Sunday through Thursday and get the third night FREE! All three nights must be consecutive. We are booked for Valentines, but have plenty of cabins available (with fireplaces and Jacuzzi's!) throughout the month of February. And you can't get much more romantic than a SNOWY winter getaway! Join us!

Ride the Rails of North Georgia!
We just found out a great way to make your way through the mountains of North Georgia! The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway is a passenger train that winds its way through the beautiful mountains along the Taccoa River. The whole trip takes about three hours and provides beautiful scenery that you can't get any other way. The trip begins just north of Cavender Creek Cabins in Blue Ridge, Georgia and chugs its way to Copper Hill, Tennessee with a stop in McCaysville to stretch your legs. For the month of February, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway is offering 20% off all tickets! Don't miss this great opportunity to take a unique trip along this historic railway!

Great Grape Growing!
February is a great time to get away with that special someone and there's always something new to do in and around Dahlonega. Apparently, our local climate of cool summers and mild winters make for great grape growing, and some vineyards have decided to call Dahlonega home. Three Sister's Vineyards and Wolf Mountain Vineyards are adding another dimension to the already unique atmosphere of Dahlonega. Each provide tours and tasting and make a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Definitely worth stopping by!

More Music...
The Folkways Center, one of our cultural gems here in Dahlonega, has revived its Saturday evening music program with talent from all over North Georgia performing a wide variety of local music. It's a great way to top off a Saturday evening!
