The wineries of Dahlonega are each hosting a special event this February to celebrate valentines. Enjoy magnificent food, delicious desserts and of course fine wine with your valentine!


Three Sisters Vineyards will host their annual "Wine & Chocolate LOVERS" celebration for two weekends on Feb. 5th & 6th, 12th & 13th between 1-5pm. Selected wine and chocolate will be combined for a truly wonderful taste sensation! No reservations required.

Frogtown Winery will feature a Romantic Winetaster's Dinner Feb. 11th. Frogtown chefs will prepare a specialty for every one of their wines with the winemaker available to guide you through the tasting. Reservations required. For those with a sweet tooth, hop on by Frogtown for a romantic weekend on Feb. 12th & 13th. Sit in front of the fireplace and treat your honey to a glass of wine and some fabulous homemade desserts. Wolf Mountain Vineyards is hosting a wonderful and romantic dinner that is sure to be remembered on Feb 12th. The Executive Chef, Edward Scheu will prepare a special Valentines Day Gourmet Dinner, a four course masterpiece that will leave your valentine speechless! Reservations required.

2nd Annual Dahlonega Literary Festival
Join us for this great event featuring approximately 50 authors hosting book signings and sales, readings, workshops, and seminars throughout the Dahlonega historic town square, February 18th-20th.. The Festival Kickoff Party and Dinner Theater Show begins at 7pm with a chance to meet the authors and hear the keynote speaker, Ludlow Porch. Feb. 4-6: Same Time, Next Year - A Holly Dinner Theatre production: When Doris, a young housewife from Oakland, CA and George, an accountant from New Jersey, meet by chance at a rural California Inn, they embark on an affair that brings them together on the same weekend, in the same inn for the next 26 years. As time passes, events in their personal lives impact their special once-a-year romance in a heat warming comedy.

Feb. 26th: The Avett Brothers - Anchored by banjo, guitar, and upright bass as well as tight harmonies and insightful songwriting this North Carolina trio was the buzz of "MerleFest" in the spring because of their rowdy acoustic, hillbilly punk. Playing at the Buisson Art Center.
