The Mountain Music and Medicine Show Returns! This entertaining show made a quiet return to Dahlonega last year but no doubt about it, you can hear the laughter throughout the town! Return to the Gold Rush days of Dahlonega in the early 1800s and travel with Doc Johnson's Miracle Medicine Show through the early 1950's. The town has gathered on the Historic Square in front of Nix's Store, the hub of local commerce and social center of the area. Doc features musical acts of the time as well as his own brand of humor while exhorting the benefits of his "Wizard Water" elixir. Local talent is showcased as well and folks come from all around to hear the music! Doc's fast-paced style and rapport with the crowd keeps toes a-tapping and laughter in the rafters! The Third Annual Dahlonega Literary Festival!
