Scenery That
Never Stops!

You still have time! Beautiful autumn leaves are still in abundance and will be around for at least a couple more weeks! But even if you can't make up in time, a whole new "show" will be unfolding as we drift further into the fall season. As the leaves fall to the ground, expanses of scenery are opened up providing spectacular views! A great way to see the changing of the seasons! Make your reservations now and get away this fall!

Cooler Temps, Georgeous Views,
Time to Get Outside!

With the wonderful weather and spectacular scenery, this is the time of year to get outside! The Chattahoochee National Forest is North Georgia's outdoor playground with so much to see and do! Get out and hike along the miles of trails and see nature up close and personal. Take the kids on a horseback riding trip! Tour the numerous waterfalls in the area or just enjoy the scenery along the backroads. Visit Dahlonega's "Things to see and do" page for more information.

Great History Hunting!

Dahlonega offers a great opportunity for history buffs since we are the origin for America's first Gold Rush! Start off by visiting the history page at www.Dahlonega.org where you'll find information on historical walking tours that provide a "hands on" and up close experience with our history through many of the buildings, historical markers and stories surrounding our surprising little town of Dahlonega, Georgia.

Art Exhibits at the DAC

The Dahlonega Arts Council (DAC) has been a part of our community for a few years now and recently moved into their new gallery in the historic Olde Cannery Arts Center. Every weekend this month the DAC will be hosting the Annual Fall Arts Show. This is a great opportunity to view stunning artwork in a variety of mediums from artists all over North Georgia. Don't miss it!
