Dahlonega's own Gold Rush Days is the largest arts & crafts festival in the North Georgia Mountains with over 300 arts & crafts booths, traditional mountain festivities such as hog calling, liar’s contest, crosscut sawing, clogging, buck dancing, and bluegrass music. On the Historic Town Square, October 18th & 19th.

To The West...
Ellijay, Georgia celebrates the almighty apple every year with The Georgia Apple Festival which remembers how apple crops saved the area after the cotton bust of the 1920's. Food, arts and crafts and of course every apple product known to man will be there! Oct. 11th & 12th, 18th & 19th.

... To The East
Perhaps the biggest party in Northeast Georgia will be going on all month just east of us as Helen, Georgia celebrates Oktoberfest. Helen was fashioned after Munich, Germany as an Alpine village and goes all out for this festival. If you like beer, bratwurst and oompah music, this is the party for you!

A Screaming Good Time!
Bring the kids!! Every Halloween shop owners on Dahlonega's Historic Square stand by their door fronts and wait for the little trick-or-treaters!
